Volunteer Background Check Policy Now In Effect
Effective December 1, 2009 district policy states that no parent may volunteer in a classroom or chaperone a field trip without a district approved background check on file. For more information on initiating this process, you may call Principal's Secretary Mary Voerding at 763.682.8615 or stop in the Tatanka Office during normal business hours OR click on Parents & Community on the menu to download the instructions and application form.

Calling All Incoming 6th Graders for Middle School 101

Get acquainted with the Buffalo Community Middle School thrugh fun games and activties that take place throughout the building. This class is a must for anyone starting at BCMS in the fall of 2012. Class is held at the Buffalo Community Middle School Monday thru Thursday, 9:30-11:30 a.m. on the following dates: July 9-12, July 16-19, July 23-26, and July 30-August 2. Quest Science Fair Winners

Congratulations to the 2011-2012 science fair winners. Students in Mrs. Steabner's Quest 4/5 classroom participated in a science fair this year. Each student chose a question to answer using the scientific method. Students displayed their results and were judged by high school and middle school science teachers, local medical professionals, school board members and other members of our community. The class had a lot of fun learning about how to investigate a scientific question. Here are the top 6 winners: Abby 6th place, Morgan 5th place, Gabriella 2nd place, Bennet 3rd place, Jack 1st place, Jonah 4th place!
